The Public Policy Network’s Mental Health Conversations were about the way we experience and respond to mental health and illness, both as individuals and as a society…

The Mental Health Conversations bring together policy makers, researchers, professionals and practitioners as well as those directly and indirectly affected by issues of mental health and illness in reflective discussion. Our aim is to identify and explore the limits of our current thought and action.

Conversations have covered the scope and extent of public responsibility for mental well-being; the different experiences of mental health and illness across countries and over time; the work of caring; the place of spirituality in mental health and the impact of recession on mental health and health services.
